From Sailing to STEM with the experts to the ability to earn your choice of over 40 different Merit Badges, it’s easy to see why Camp Hinds is the camp to be at to experience summer camp in Maine.
Mornings at Hinds are spent knocking out merit badge requirements at one of our waterfronts, STEM center, Craftshop, shooting ranges, Scoutcraft, or nature. In the afternoon, Scouts and their troops have the opportunity to take on activity rotations, team building challenges and specialized adventures. On Wednesdays, troops work together to conquer challenges while competing against other troops. Open areas, campfires, Vespers, Glow Nights and Rec at Ring fill the twilight hours before taps closes out a great day of camp.
Located in the beautiful Sebago region, Camp Hinds’ provides an opportunity to experience Scouting while nestled in the natural environment of Maine. And our first-year-camper program means that every Scout will have the time of their life no matter their experience level.
